If you need urgent treatment during normal surgery hours, you should contact the practice for advice. lf you need to be seen by a dentist, we will arrange an appointment – where possible, on the same day.

If you need urgent advice when the practice is closed, please call Dentaline on 01634 890300 who will be able to assist you. This is a service provided by Medway NHS, which is responsible for commissioning dental services in this area.

Alternatively, you can contact NHS Direct on www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk or 0845 4647 OR NHS 111, depending on the service covering your area.

The practice follows agreed procedures to keep your information secure and private. We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously at Castle Street Dental Practice and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence.

Only members of staff have access to patient information. All our patient records are securely stored at our practice to ensure that any patient information is only accessed as part of your treatment.

For more information about our Privacy Notice to patients and/or our Confidentiality Policy, or if you’d like further information regarding your rights to view your patient records, please contact and ask at reception.

English is the spoken language at the Practice.

Unfortunately, our treatment areas are not accessible to wheelchairs. If you are a wheelchair user we can provide you with information where it will be accessible. We must mention our surgery is only accessible by two flights of stairs.

If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about please give us a call before your appointment and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.

We will make sure that you know the cost of your dental treatment and agree to it before we start any treatment. We will give you a written treatment plan. We accept the following methods of payment at the practice: all major credit and debit cards.

We try to make payments as straightforward as possible for our patients. Our normal practice policy is that you pay the full amount at the end of your treatment (single visit) OR you pay a proportion of the costs to the end of each visit (multiple visits)
